About the piece

In old homes, the hearth was the center around which the family gathered; that is why fire is still seen as a symbol of warmth and togetherness. Eternal Flame rekindles that hearth as a stylized flame: the clear sphere at the base of its curling tongues lets light pass through, becoming a calm point of light on the console table that marks where the home gathers.

Eternal Flame is a stylized flame with tongues that curl as they rise; a clear sphere set within the lower curve lets light pass through. The soft, matte textured surface quietly brings out the fluid line of the form.

At 30 cm tall, on its black rectangular base, it creates a slender vertical accent on a console table, a bookshelf, or a desk. In white, black, and gold.
